I had my trip rewards account cancelled due to inactivity. The trip rewards company [ http://www.triprewards.com/ ] is now Wyndham Rewards company [ http://www.wyndhamrewards.com/ ]. I did not recieve a letter or an email regarding my account status. I think this is where the company makes it's money - basically people don't cash in their points. You would think that if they were a legitimate company they would communicate with their clients their account status - NOPE. I do still recieve marketing emails; even though my account is closded. End result is I LOST all the points collected. The company is BRUTAL!! Don't waste your time collecting points with them. I tried talking on the phone with them and 'it's too bad so sad' attitude really made me mad. I checked the better business bureau site and they get an F. The lowest possible score.
I am fortunate to actually participate in this model classroom environment - Grade 8 History Lesson - I'm a student who is participating in a Moodle workshop & blogging it at the same time.
Mark and Charles are facilitating the lesson. The presenters are from Bryan, TX - http://moodel.bryanisd.org .
What is a 5e lesson? Not sure but hope to find out. The focus of the lesson is on tariffs - which students have a difficult time grasping.
A few more day left before I head down to San Antonio Texas for the 2008 NECC conference. I haven't had a chance to review the entire program; however there are many sessions. With over 18,000 people attending they will have some variety.
